Graduate Research Awards in Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias
The Alzheimer Society London and Middlesex™ provides two graduate awards to full-time graduate students who are conducting research on Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias. The awards are valued at $12,500 each. Students eligible for this award must be enrolled in one of the following faculties:
- Faculty of Social Science
- Faculty of Science
- Faculty of Health Sciences
- Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, at the University of Western Ontario

Congratulations to Karim Virani and Leah Cuddy!
Karim Virani's research focuses on the causes of impaired emotional face processing in patients with Frontotemporal dementia (FTD). Leah Cuddy's research explores the factors that regulate high-affinity choline transporter activity and trafficking.
