In this position, you will work under the direction of the First Link Program Manager to facilitate several of the Society’s First Link Learning Series (FLLS) at its London office and at off-site locations. Memory Cafe Facilitator
In this position, you will work under the direction of the Social Recreation Coordinator, along with the First Link Program Manager and Volunteer Services Coordinator as required to plan and facilitate the Society’s “Memory Café” program at the London site (Merrymount Family Centre). The program will run once per month (1st Wednesday, 1pm to 3pm) from February to June 2017 (extended based on funding).

Minds in Motion (MiM) Physical Activity Program Facilitator
In this position, you will work under the direction of the Social Recreation Coordinator to plan for and lead the physical activity component of Minds in Motion®. In leading this component of the program, the Facilitator will deliver the program as designed by the Canadian Centre for Activity and Aging. Recognizing that participants will have varying levels of ability and mobility, the Facilitator will be more concerned about the participants working within their own abilities and having fun than ‘doing things right’. With support from relevant Alzheimer Society London and Middlesex staff, volunteers and post-secondary student placements, the Facilitator will contribute to the establishment of a welcoming, stigma-free and fun-filled environment.
