Take a Coffee Break™ and help fight Alzheimer’s disease
This September, make your coffee count in the fight against Alzheimer’s disease by supporting the National Alzheimer Society Coffee Break™. Coffee Break™ is an annual fundraising and awareness campaign where families, friends, and coworkers across Canada gather in their community to enjoy a coffee and support their local Alzheimer Society.
Participants can host a Coffee Break™ at their home or office, or make a donation in exchange for a cup of coffee. Last year’s Coffee Break™ raised an impressive $1.3 million. Every cup of coffee sold at Coffee Break™ events in the London and Middlesex area will go towards funding vital programs and services at the Alzheimer Society London and Middlesex. There are 120 Coffee Break host locations in the London area including Scotiabank, Sunripe, Bulk Barn, Giant Tiger and Quizno’s.
This year’s Coffee Break™ kicked off officially on Wednesday, September 15, 2010 at One London Place.
